Child Care and Education


Children's Sunday Schools
Sunday Schools for pre-school through high school begin Sunday, September 7 from 9:15-10:00 a.m. in the Mosaic Building. This year's pre-school and elementary curriculum is based on the Shorter Catechism. Lessons use crafts, music, and games to teach doctrine foundational to the Christian faith. The catechism is presented in the form of memorization questions and answers that pre-schoolers can grasp. The junior high and high school curriculum teaches Bible doctrine based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. This is a two-year course that equips students to use Bible study tools and helps them to develop a Christian world-and-life view. Nursery
A well-staffed nursery is available for children (infants through 4 years) during worship service. The nursery opens at 10:00 a.m. and remains open through the end of the worship service. All children, however, are welcome to remain with their parents and guardians during the service. The nursery will open at 9:15 once children's Sunday Schools resume on September 17.


Gospel Interaction
Gospel Interaction is an elementary-level children's lesson held during the Sunday morning sermon. Children ages 3 and up may participate at the discretion of parents or guardians. Kids are dismissed from the service and return before Holy Communion.


Youth Ministry (Ages 13 and up)
Teens are invited to Sunday evening gatherings. Call the church office 982-8817 for more info. Teens 13-19 are encouraged to participate
