As part of the God’s Work is Alive! campaign, we are helping four congregations in Africa (2 in Rwanda and 2 in Tanzania) build churches as we renovate our church building in Santa Fe. During the construction phases of these churches, periodic reports will be provided to the CCSF congregation of the progress of each. Construction is already underway in Nyagatare, Rwanda and Nyasirori and Guta, Tanzania. Construction of the fourth church, in Nyabatari, Rwanda will begin soon. To view the progress of these churches, click on the photo gallery, above.

Some of our partners in sharing Jesus Christ around the world include:

Global Outreach works in countries worldwide, empowering people through healthcare, shelter, nutrition, education and economic development. Churches, health clinics, schools, and water treatment facilities have been built through this organization, which works alongside local people to help them build a sense of self-reliance and accomplishment. Two programs developed through Global Outreach include Global Goats, which combats poverty through micro-loans, and Natal Care, which provides aid to women and children in the areas of nutrition and health.

Medical Mission International provides healthcare, health education, and medical training in 22 countries around the world. This is done through short term projects, long term programs, and permanent facilities. A team from CCSF annually travels to Leticia, Colombia to serve the region by providing sight through eye exams and surgeries.

Pastor Victor Cruz and his family moved to the Condesa-Roma neighborhood of Mexico City to plant a church (Redeemer Church Mexico City / El Redentor Cd. de Mexico) in 2010. CCSF has been a friend and supporter of Pastor Cruz’s efforts and has shared in his joys as this church has grown and serves as a voice for Christ in the heart of one of the world’s largest cities.

Amazon Xpeditions trains indigenous pastors, church leaders and native missionaries to evangelize un-reached tribes of the Amazon Jungle. This is done through new church construction, children’s homes, medical support, evangelistic campaigns, and ministry expeditions in Colombia, Brazil, and Peru.

The International Church Planting Center churches to build a church planting network around the world. CCSF is partnering with ICPC in Cuba to train pastors and to translate, print, and distribute Christian resources to the Cuban people, where there is a lack of religious resources due to governmental restrictions.

The Great Plains Gathering is a church plant in Billings, Montana that serves the Native American tribes of the area. It is led by Pastor Josh Charette, who strives to build an authentic, Christ centered community while honoring the indigenous cultures of the congregation.

Several times a year, CCSF hosts events that feature groups that work to spread God’s word through missions. Recent events include a Colombian dinner and meeting that discussed the recent MMI Amazon Eye Mission Trip to Colombia, and a visit by Dr. Nabeel Jabbour, who spoke to the congregation about reaching out to the Muslim population. Pastor Victor Cruz from El Redentor in Mexico City will be speaking to the CCSF congregation in June.
